A Fort Wayne man is in custody after Fort Wayne police arrested him for child molesting accusations against a girl.
Cody A. Kell, 32, faces two felony charges for incidents that took place between August 2022 and September 2023.
The girl told police that Kell, “pulled down his pants and showed me [the victim] his private parts.”
Police say Kell instructed the girl to touch his “private parts” to which she told him “no.” The girl recalled Kell responded to her with, “oh come on, just do it.”
The victim says Kell made her “touch around it” even though she told him no.
According to the girl, this happened more than once. The victim says one day Kell asked the girl to pull down her pants and she told him no.
The girl explained that Kell pulled down her pants and underwear and tried to touch her, but the victim pulled up her pants and underwear “quickly.”
Police say Kell had also shown the victim videos on his phone of “teenagers” pulling down their pants.
The victim stated that Kell said, “you can’t tell anyone” when he showed her the videos.
Kell is facing charges of child molesting, Level 4 Felony, and dissemination of matter harmful to minors, Level 6 Felony.
